Dave Mukherjee
President, CEO and Founder

As the Founding CEO of Actelycon Inc, Dave’s beliefs in technologies relating to the Internet are revolutionizing communication processes worldwide. Under Dave’s leadership, Actelycon has created innovative solutions based on Voice over Internet Protocol.

Dave has a very successful entrepreneurial record. In 1995, he founded Astral Systems Inc. driving it to a market leading position in the area of Internet Software Services. Dave’s business philosophy has been to focus on e-services since they have the potential to radically energize legacy processes in both technical and business applications. This guiding principle has driven him to continually analyze and expose common areas of business need and address them through the multiple ventures he has created with in the Internet space.

In 1999, he started Atesto Technologies. The Atesto Solutions Suite, designed to transform real world testing and performance management for web applications, is a key component in the implementation and realization of his vision. Atesto is a leading integrated Web platform for the real-world testing and performance management of Web applications. Atesto's suite of services enhances the development, testing, deployment, and performance management of Web applications through their entire lifecycle. His leadership and management skills were instrumental in building an international presence for Astral and Atesto almost overnight. The company's marquee customer base includes Microsoft, Beyond.com, Marimba, PlanetWeb, HCL Technologies, i2 Technologies to name a few.

Actelycon is headquartered in Singapore and maintains an advanced offshore development facility in Calcutta, India, leveraging an additional 50 highly skilled and technically qualified workforce.

Dave is also an angel investor in startup e-businesses, which are focused on local and broadband content networks, as well as the founder of three additional companies, all of which are profitable.

Subhashis Majumder
Chief Scientist and VP Engineering

As the Chief Scientist, Subhashis is the mastermind of the Actelycon solution. He is responsible for the Actelycon product design and planning since its inception. In fact he has spearheaded the entire R&D activities related to Actelycon and has also been responsible for the creating the Product Management policies for both the domestic and international markets for Actelycon.

Subhashis holds a B.E in Electronics and Telecom Engg. from J.U. and an M.Tech in Computer Science from ISI, Kolkata. He had started his career with Texas Instruments India Pvt. Ltd and has been involved in different projects in the field of Networking, VoIP, Client-Server applications as well as Partitioning and Global Routing in VLSI. He has also worked in Delay Fault Testing while following up his PhD at Rutgers and has a number of publications in major IEEE conferences in the related fields.

Sujit Dutta
Sales Manager

Sujit brings in a lot of Project sales and marketing experience into the Actelycon sales effort. He is an engineer by profession and also holds an MBA from Calcutta University. His current responsibilities are to address the ISP and Corporate market space for Actelycon. He has been instrumental in projecting the Actelycon value proposition to our clients and in building up sustained relationships with them.

Arup Kumar Kar
Business Development Manager

Arup holds a B.E degree from REC Rourkela and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. Prior to working in Astral he worked in the marketing division of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, an oil major. In his three-year stint in HPCL he has also held many positions of responsibility on diverse functional areas like projects and operations. His major contributions include extending the presence of Astral Systems in Southern India and development of new product ideas for Actelycon. At present he is focusing his energies on different target markets for Actelycon.

Surya Kumar Pala
Business Development Manager

Surya is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta with specialization in Systems and Marketing. He found his true calling at Astral after his earlier stint in the ISP industry, where he has done pioneering work on e-commerce helping develop various portals. Surya has been instrumental in securing a firm presence for the Astral Systems’ service offering in Western India. Currently, he is developing a broader client base for the Actelycon product offering.

Sayan Banerjee
Marketing Manager

An IIM Calcutta alumnus, he co developed a successful web startup on MBA education prior to joining Astral Systems. Sayan is a part of the team that is responsible for the Business and Marketing Strategy Planning for the Actelycon solution. Sayan has also been responsible for developing new business propositions for Actelycon. At present he is heading all the marketing and communication activities for Actelycon.
